Whiterock Conservancy's bed and breakfast: Garst Farmhouse

The historic Garst Farmhouse offers an outstanding stay to guests.

The Whiterock Conservancy offers a variety of lodging options to guests. You can elect to spend a night in the comfortable historic bed and breakfast known locally as the Garst Farmhouse — the home of Roswell and Elizabeth Garst. Or you may opt to bring your family and friends for a night in one of the cozy cottages. If you enjoy the outdoors, Whiterock Conservancy Guest Services offers a remote 3-season cabin on the banks of the Middle Raccoon River.

Woodland Carriage House offers a bonfire ring, fishing ponds, hiking trails and the Middle Raccoon River await outside your door. The decor has a "lodge" feel, and features the amusing Fluxus Indian Museum.

Woodland Carriage House is located next to the River House, in the heart of Whiterock Valley. Dogs are allowed, if you are with them and keep them off of the furniture.

Situated on 4,300 acres, the land base called Whiterock is dotted with sandstone bluffs carved out by the Middle Raccoon, oak savannas bursting with prairie wildflowers, and an abundance of wildlife can be viewed by guests.  It is a photographer’s paradise!
